Coatings and Joints

Coatings

Coatings for pipe corrosion protection:

  • External

Polyethylene (PE): DIN 30670 / AWWA C215 / NFA 49710

Polypropylene (PP): DIN 30678 / AWWA C215 / NFA 49711

Polyurethane (PUR): EN 10290 / AWWA C222

Epoxy: AWWA C210 / NFA 49709 / EN 10289

Epoxy: AWWA C210 / NFA 49709 / EN 10289

Polyurethane: EN 10290 / AWWA C222

Cement mortar: AWWA C205 / DIN 2614 / EN 10298

Joints

Types of pipeline-end:

  • Bevelled: for butt weld. (Welded Joint).
  • Cylindrically expanded at one end: Spigot & Socket Joint that facilitates overlapping and welding.
  • Spherically expanded on both ends: joint system (Spherical Joint) that facilitates the assembly and welding overlap, allowing, in addition, a greater angle of deflection (up to 8º).
